How do I use the pedometer?
- Press CLEAR to reset STEPS to 0.
- Clip the pedometer on your belt. The pedometer must be in a vertical position, otherwise incorrect readings may result.
- Walk, jog, or run as you normally do.
- Record the total number of steps you take at the end of each day.
What if the pedometer shows an abnormal function such as "frozen display", "strange display", "frozen button", etc?
- If the pedometer shows an abnormal function such as "frozen display", "strange display", "frozen button", etc, you need to re-initialize the unit by pressing RESET using a pointed object such as a paper clip. The RESET button is located on the top, right of the back of the unit.

How do I set the step length?
- Measure your step length toe-to-toe or heel-to-heel in inches or centimeters. For a more accurate result, measure the distance of 10 steps and average them by dividing by 10 to arrive at your average step length.
- To enter the step length, repeatedly press MODE until you hear "Set Up Step Length". Repeatedly press UP or DOWN until the correct step length appears. Each press increases or decreases step length by 5 cm or 2 inches. The maximum step length in 200 cm or 80 inches.
- Press MODE once. The pedometer will beep 4 times indicating that the step length has been set and will then return to the normal display mode.
Note: This is not necessary to do for the W.O.W. Challenge. You only need to set the step length if you are interested in having an accurate record of the number of miles you have walked.
How do I make the pedometer announce the number of steps and the distance?
- Press the TALK button.
How do I set the time on my pedometer?
- Press MODE repeatedly until you hear "Time Set" and the time display flashes.
- Press UP until the correct hour appears.
- Repeatedly press DOWN until the correct minute appears.
- Press MODE 3 times.
- The clock will beep 4 times indicating that the times has been set and will return to the normal display mode.
How do I set the alarm clock?
- Press MODE repeatedly until you hear" Alarm Set" - AL appears on the display and the time display flashes.
- Repeatedly press UP until the correct hours appears.
- Repeatedly press DOWN until the correct minute appears.
- Press MODE 2 times.
- The clock will beep 4 times indicating that the times has been set and will return to the normal display mode.
How do I turn the alarm clock on and off?
- To turn the alarm off, press UP repeatedly until you hear "Alarm Off" and the bell icon disappears from the LCD screen.
- To turn on the alarm, press UP repeatedly until you hear "Alarm On" - the alarm will sound and the bell icon will appear on the LCD screen.
How do I select an alarm clock sound?
- There are four different alarm sounds to select from -
- Beeps
- Rooster
- Cuckoo
- Melody
- To select a different alarm sound, press UP repeatedly until you hear the alarm sound you want.
How do I play the music on my pedometer?
- You can listen to 7 melodies while walking, jogging, or running.
- Press DOWN repeatedly until you hear "Music On".
- The music will start to play when you start to walk, jog, or run.
- The tempo of the music will increase or decreased in accordance with your speed.
- The music will automatically stop if you stop walking, jogging, or running for more than 5 seconds.
How do I turn off the music on my pedometer?
- Press DOWN repeatedly until the music note icon disappears from the LCD display.
How do I make the pedometer announce the time?
- Press and hold the TALK button - the pedometer will announce the number of steps, distance, the current time, and the alarm sound.
How do I know when to replace the battery in the pedometer?
- If the sound weakens, distorts, or the display dims, replace the battery.
- This pedometer uses one CR2025 lithium battery - which should be available at any electronics or drug store.

What kind of battery do I need for the pedometer?
- The pedometer comes packaged with a battery; however you many need to replace the battery should it "die".
- This pedometer uses one CR2025 lithium battery - which should be available at any electronics or drug store.

Where can I get a new battery for the pedometer?

How do I replace the battery in the pedometer?
- Slide the battery tray (located towards the bottom on the back of the pedometer) away from the unit.
- Remove the old battery and install a new CR2025 battery as indicated by the polarity symbol (+) marked on the battery tray.
- With the positive side (+) facing the back of the pedometer, insert the tray to snap close.
What if the pedometer gets wet?
- Remove the battery tray and battery.
- Let the pedometer dry out.
- When dry, put the battery back in the pedometer.
